Peter Dawes Park

Peter Dawes Park is centrally located in Burke St Julia Creek. A new, shaded kids playground was installed in 2018. The Park includes undercover picnic tables with BBQ facilities and public amenities. There is a large grass area which is often used for community events. There is also interpretive signage detailing historical information about the town.

Lions Park

The Julia Creek Lions Park is located at the eastern edge of town (access from Goldring and Burke Streets). The Lions Park has a large grassed area with the Dirt n Dust windmill hard to miss. There is an undercover kids playground and an undercover/partially enclosed picnic table area. This space is regularly used as part of the Driver Revivor program.

Centenary Park

Located in the township of McKinlay, Centenary Park is home to the towns Library and Museum. The Park has an undercover picnic table area, kids playground and public amenities. The Parks surrounds feature interpretive signage and a local cattle branding board.
