Payroll/Human Resources Officer

McKinlay Shire Council has an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Payroll and Human Resources Officer to join their Corporate Services team based in Julia Creek.
The role will ensure that all personnel receive remuneration in a timely and efficient manner and provide support to the Director Corporate and Community Services in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, training and development, performance monitoring and Council policies.
Desired applicants will possess the following skills and qualifications, or be willing to obtain:
- Minimum education to Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Experience and/or qualifications in working in Local Government;
- Qualification and/or demonstrated experience in Payroll and Human Resources functions;
- Experience working within the boundaries of policies and procedures.
