CALL TO TENDER
McKinlay Shire Council Housing Project, Julia Creek Qld
McKinlay Shire Council have been successful in obtaining external funding assistance which has allowed the Council to undertake a Housing Project for the design and construction of 2 x two bedroom units and 2 x four bedroom houses within the town of Julia Creek Qld.
It is the Council’s intention to obtain prices for the delivery of the following housing options;
- 2 x Two bedroom units to be built on LOT 9 JC55711 – Shaw Street, Julia Creek QLD 4823
- 1 x Four Bedroom house to be built on LOT 3 SP278219 – Netterfield Street, Julia Creek QLD 4823
- 1 x Four Bedroom house to be built on LOT 4 SP278219 – Netterfield Street, Julia Creek QLD 4823
The contract is a design and construct contract and Council has provided detailed specifications and requirements for each house which have been included within the Tender Documents.
The housing supplier/builder will be responsible for the all planning and certification approvals and all items within the buildings must comply with applicable legislative codes, standards and/or requirements as a minimum. If there missing information from the specific requirements or specification then it is expected that industry standard practice ensuring best fit-for-purpose is to be allowed for.
