Volunteering

McKinlay Shire Council encourages the local community to take an active role in the district's facilities and services.

Our volunteer organisations provide a perfect opportunity to meet people, learn new skills, and contribute to our shire. Throughout the year there are several activities and events that require the valuable assistance of volunteers including sporting events, cultural activities, driver reviver, working bees, fundraising activities and social events.

The Dirt n Dust Festival, held annually in April, is a major event that requires a large number of volunteers to make the event a success. To register your interest as a volunteer for the Dirt n Dust Festival, please email admin@dirtndust.com
